Dr Stuart, James Barton, teacher, Flag Swamp, to Helen, only daughter of the late Captain James Meffen, of Dundee, Scotland.
On the 7th January, at the residence of the bridegroom's father, Great King street, by the Rev. Dr. Stuart, Agnes Summers, eldest daughter of Mr A. Summers,. baker, ;Smith street; to James Thomas, miner, both of Dunedin. . ,
On the 7th January, by the Rev. J. Upton Daviß, 8.A.. James Hearn Cleghorn, third son of Thomas Cleghorn! Esq., of Bilderston, Suffolk,. England, to Annie, eldest daughter of W. R. Ward, Esq., Dunedin.
