"Mountain Chief" is a bright bay, 10 hands 3 inches high, very compact, and has extraordinary action, with great power and substance. His temper is very mild. He was bred by Mr .James Wilson, Broadlicld, Aberdeenshire; sire " Surprise," dam " Solly ;" sire of dam ." Red Robin." " Surprise," "Sally," and "Red Robin" took many first prizes at the leading shows in Scotland, whilst " Mountain Chief " was second as a two-year-old at Aberdeen, the only time he was ever shown. Intending purchasers may inspect him at the Royal George Stables, till day of sale.
