Wellinton, July 2nd.: V.. Mosley's price current quotes the Oastorns duties collected in the Port of Wellington to June, 1874, as £9092; do to June, 1873, ai £7404. Stocks in bond on Juno; 30th show an increase in the month of 250 qr.casks, 500 cases brandy, and 500 cases geneva. Although the clearances have been large, the exports for the quarter ending June, 1874, amount to .£76,405; do corresponding quarter of 1873, £88,676. The difference being in flax, valued in 1873 at £14,124, and in 1874 at £549. (?) Striking it out of both returns, the table shows as* increase of export of ordinary articles. Auckland, July 2nd. ; A fire broke out in the store of G. W. . Owen, Lower Queen street, adjoining Owen | and Graham, shortly after seven. The | flames have just broken through the windows, and it threatens to be a most destructive fire. There was no water for an half an hour after the fire was discovered, owing to no organised fire brigade. Mr J. Mackay's son was carried out of Owen and Graham's store suffocated.
