(J) All for (salaries except £8600, which may.be also no applied. (g) Scarcely any of this for salaries. (A) With the exception of £14.000 of capitation allowance, the remainder for salaries.

fcOTBH. (i) Of this amount, .£301,659 is for the interest and sinking fund of the Colonial debt alone ; the remaindor Is payable, according to various Acts, for salaries, j pensions, Native schools, University, compensation, &c. (j) Capitation allowance to Province*. C*) This is a charge against the revenue derivable from the sale of confiscated land, which is a fictitious account, In the meantime chargeable against the Defence or Immigration Loans. (0 Recoverable from Provinces whore there ii a land fund, in the meantime chargeable against the Consolidated Fund. (m) Recoverable out of public treat fond. (n) Includes interest and sinking ftind for 15 months, to July 15,1873, amounting to £120,000. A portion of this £210,531 12s id. Is chargeable against the Consolidated Fond. (p) Subsidy to fioad Board*.
