CRICKET. TO THE EDITOR.
Silt—Your reporter having thought lit to make some remarks concerning two of the •Citizens' team leaving the ground on Saturday last, they wish today in reference thereto, that if he had enquired further as to the cause of their so leaving, he would perhaps have refrained from making the allusion now referred to. The two who left did not do so solely on the ground of their being placed last on the list, but through the manner it w» done by the Captain of the Citizens' team—the insult being a pointed one—was the cause of their retiring.—We are, fee, Tub Lkavino Two. November 19th.
