The Doctor is evidently not aware that the risk of fire is not regarded by business men as a proper trade risk ; they ueek to relieve themselves from such risk by insurance to the full value of the htook tliey hold, if possible ; and the trader who acts differently is running an unwarrantable risk, and would be regarded with worse than e;u«pidon if such fact were known by the merchant who in giving him credit. There ought to he no Blur tin-own on the prudent man who covers by itmuranec his stock to its full value with a view to the protection of his own interests, and those who credit him. I am, &»;.
