DUNEDIN GAS WORKS.
IN consequence of a slight misunderstanding between the City Council and the Proprietor of the Dunedin Gas Works, he feels it due to the Citizens to intimate to them that he has no intention of, departing from the promise previously made, to tlie effect that for three years, from the lst of March last, the price of Gas to all Consumers paying their rates before the 15fch of each month should not exceed 12s 6d per 1000 cubic feet. Any Consumer desirous of having an agreement embodying these terms can obtain the same by application at the Gas Office, Temple Chambers, Princes street. H. A. HANKEY, By his Attorney, W. J. M.
