CITY OF DUNEDlN.—Tenders will be received at the Town Olerk's Office on or before Wednesday, lst February, at 3 p.m., for the right to cut and and remove Flax from off the unleaEed portions of the Town Belt, for a period of one year. MASSEY, Town Clerk. 20th January, 1871. a CITY OF DUNEDIN. — Notice is Hereby Given, that the Assessment for the year 1871. of all buildings, lands, tenements, and hereditaments within the City, has been submitted to the CityCouncil and allowed ; that the same is deposited at the office of the undersigned, City Council Chambers, Princes street, and may be daily inspected between the hours of IO a.m. and 4 p.m. by any person interested therein. • Further, that any appeals against the assessment may.be lodged at the Council Chambers (where blank forms may he had) on or before the 6th day of February, 1871; and a copy of each notice of appeal must be delivered by the appellant to the Clerk of the Res', dent Magistrate's Couct, Dnnedin, six clear days before the day of hearing. The day of hearing will be a few days subsequent to the 6th February, and will be duly advertised. - • J. M.
