The Airedale made an excursion trip to Stewart's Island to-day. She left the Bluff at 10.30 a.m., with about 50 passengers, and encountered rather a rough sea in the Straits. She anchored at one o'clock in Half Moon Bay, lunch was partaken of, and a few of the passengers, residents in the locality, were landed.
