The total amount of Customs Revenue received to-day on goods cleared for consumption waa as follows, viz. :—

The week has opened without any change iv the markets, but a little moro briskness haa been perceptible to-day, and a better demand for most goods will probably bo felt for a short timo. In breadstuff's wo note an improved enquiry, the sales of flour havo been heavier, and tho parcels of grain coming forward meet with sale at full priocs. Very littlo old wheat is to be had ; oats command, for gcod parcels, 2a lOd, and barley fit for malting 4a 6<L In spirits there has been nothing done of any moment, but in beers an effort to quit parcels has been to some extent successful, though, in most cases, at unsatisfactory prices. Privately, trado parcels of Tennent's ale havo been placed at 9s. A small lot of M'Ewcn's ale, in fair condition, realised lut an mdi fferent rate, while by auction somoof thelessfavourite brands were quitted at extremely low values. A slightly better enquiry for corns icka resulted in some small ttr.l.B at 15s. Kerosono has been moved at 2s 3d, and candles at lljjd. A good business in congous in trade parcels continues to bo done, and sugars are in request at very full rates. In most of the otherstapls thero have been light parcels moving, but nothing of any particular interest has transpired.
