Fine weather was experienced until off the Waitaki, whero sh-raet with a strong S.E. breeze, wbich afterwards increased, causing a heavy sea to roll in to Oamaru, where somo difficulty was met with in landing and taking off passengers. Tho sea increased whdc sho remained there, and sho was obliged to get underway, and pri ceed to sea. leaving some of her passengers on shore. Tho same weather continued throughout tho passage hence, and during it sho proved herself an admirable sea-boit. On entering the Heads, a neavy sea was running on the bar. The Comerang on this occasion brings a large cargo, including three Durham cows, two ot which took prizes at tho late c ittlc show in Christchnrch. Thoy are consigned to Mr Hibbard, who accompanies them.
