SfJt —I read with interest your leader<£ to-day, on the subjectof introducing immigrants from Great Britain. If there is aa. urgent demand for thorn in Otago, I believe hundreds of good useful settlers,, mechanics, agriculturists, and others, can now bo-had in Auckland, and I thmlr,. if an agent was sent tliither with authority to communicate and act in conjunction, with tho Superintendent of that Province,. some hundreds of seasoned and industrious colonists might be introduced here —relieving Auckland and benefiting Otago.—l am, «See.
