The Provincial Government hare abont! two hundred thousand acres in this district to open up for settlement; the i whole of this country is st present unoccupied and will be offered to public competition. Sod. Suburban land adjoining tbe township of Clyde. This district will be I lcid out in lota of from ten to sixty acres, and is nearly a'l rich agricultural land, a great deal of it abutting on the Wairoa Eiver. It will be disposed of by public auction. 3rd. Agricultural land, adjoining the suburban land at the Walroa, and Mabia, and in different parts of the Wairoa and adjacent districts. There is & large extent of really fine agricultural lar.d to be brought into the market from time to time, as demand for it occurs. This lahdwill be surveyed and laid out in sections suitable for the occupation oi agricultural settlers, and will be sold to the first applicant at one pound per acre. Land for commonage will be reserved adjacent to each block of sgrlcultura land, for fourteen yeara, equal in extent to (he quantity of land sold or offered for sale. 4ti. Pastoral land, about (120,000) one hundrei and twenty thousand acres of land suitable for sheep runs, situate in Wairoa and adjacent districts, will bu divided into blocks not exceeding in any case ten thousand acree, and be leased by pnblio auction for fourteen years to the highest bidder.
