The total amount of revenue received at the Cus-onm to-day on goods passed for home consumption was L 1377 13s BJ, the items being : —Brandy, 83 gals, L4'J 16s, whisky, 44 gals, L2G 8s ; geuova, 39 gals, L23 12s 6d ; wine, 94 gals, L22 G-j 6d ; bottled beer, 77 gals, L 5 15a Gd ; beer in bulk, 500 gals, LIS 15s ; tibacco, 100 lbs, L2O ; tea, 1195 lbs, L 37 7s 6d ; sugar, 4419 lbs. LIS 8s 3J ; drapery, L 921 Is 7d ; boots, L 219 7s lid ; sundries, LH 14s 111
Pending the arrival of the English Mnil, and of intelligence from other sources, there is bit!; a meagre amount of business doing, though c- quiry is making for various goods, in anticipation of orders. No auction sales have occurred, nor have we anything ot special importance to record.
