A few sales of teas^ sugars, and spirits have been the. only private transactions of importance which have taken place. By auction, a large parcel of sugars, and other goods offered at Messrs M'Landress, Hepburn and Co.'s rooms, found-buyers. - Very few bags of crystals were submitted ; but what there was; together with the bulk, of counter sugars, i "realised fair prices.
