It is worthy of notice, in connection with the statistics of exports from this Province, that the frtcamsdip Orneo, on 'her first trip to Melbourne, will take about two hundred tons of potatoes and a large quantity of grain. The steamer Tunpeka brought down this morning, for transhipment to the Omeo, about sixty tons of potatoes, which had been received at Dunedm from the Molyneux, by the schooner Pioneer and other vessels, and the remainder of the produce to be thus exported has been received from the same locality and from other districts of the Province. The three-masted schooner Alma ia likewise loading potatoes at Dunedin Wharf for Sydney.

The paddle-steamer New Zealand, bound for Ijokitika, with a considerable cargo and a large number of passengers, sailed at 11.30 a.m. The Auckland and Geelong sailed at 1.30 p.m. The schooner M;;ry Jane, which lately put back owing to stress of weather, sailed on Tutsday evening, anil has probably again brought up at the Heads, tho weather continuing to be unfavorable.

Three steamers from the North—the Hero, Tararua, and Wellington —may be expected to arrive in port during Thursday. The Tararua returns to Sydney, via Northern Ports, on Friday ; tho Wellington makes her regular trip to the Bluff"; and the Hero will sail on Saturday for Melbourne.

Tho schooner Otago, recently launched in the Upper Harbour, has been brought round to Port Chalmers, and moored near the hulk Thomas and Henry, where she will be masted and ringed. At the other side of the bay lies

the ancient James Daly, of the cod-head and mackerel-tail species of schooner. She is also receiving new spars and some repairs, with theinttntion.it is understood, of fitting her ibr outside work.

The steamer Titania, which has already made several successful voyages to Hokitika and back, nnd has long been a favorite passenger boat between this port and Invercnrgill, is advertised to sail again for the West Coast, immediately after her arrival, now hourly expected.
