Causes of insolvency : Failure of water power in the mill formerly rented by the insolvent, at N>>rth Taieri, whereby he was unable to keep more than one pair of stones going, on an average lour days a week, the proceeds being inadequate to the payment of expenses and rent; seizure of his goods for rent, and tueir sale for one-third of their value.
