The plans, Sec, with estimate of the co3tsoi the various particulars (without author's name, but with a motto and sealed letter) to be delivered, free of expense, on or before the 31st July, at the office of the undersigned, of whom further particulars and a plan of the town may be obtained. The encineer or other person whose scheme may be accepted must guarantee the practicability of tbe same, and will be held bound to undertake or supervise the works according to his plans and estimate?, if required by the Council to do so* but the Council does not pledge itself to employ tha engineer or other person whose plans may be accepted. .
