It Is a well-known fact that in all the Woolproducing Colonies of -ireat Britain the system of disposing of this staple by public com petition has become universal, and haß proved emiue»tly advantageous, alike to the buyer and the seller. Nothing can be more desirable than that the wool-growers ot the extensive district of which Dunedin is the centre, i-liould be placed in a position to avail themselves of a mode of sale which has been found so ustful elsewhere. It is with tlie view of meeting a want so generally felt that the undersigned have been induced to devote a large portiun of the premises above r3 - ferred to to the purposes of a WO L aU TION MART. From the arrangements thus completed, the grower, on consigning his Wool to the undersigned, wi'l secure the double advantage of having it placed on view and offered for sale in this market; and in the case of its not being disposed of to meet Mb views as to its value, of having it shipped under efficient superintendence, either to Melbourne or (ireat Britain, or to Great Britain ' vid Melbourne.
