Export entries were passed at the Customs to-day on 15,018 ozs 3 dwfs of gold, the duty upon which amounted to L 1877 5s 4d. The total atmunt of revenas leceived on articles passed for home consumption was L 598 16< 3d; the items being-:—Brawl?, 333 gals, L 153 Qi 4d; geneva, 122 gala, L55 Ss 2.1; whisky, 275 gals,' L 123 16i 8.1; wine, 139 gals, L2O 10s 3d ; rum, 31 gals, Ll3 19s; battled beer, 125 gals, L 6 53; bitters, 80 gals, L36 5 3 Id; tea 210 lbs, L 3 10s; tobacco, 973 lbs, L73 Is; sugar, 4461 lbs, LlB 11s 9d; sundries, L 4 9s. The market has opened to-day with every appearanca of a good week's business. Orders from up-country in the hands of storekeepers this morning were rather more numerous; besides, the town trade seems rather more active. Flour. —The Melbourne advices per Albion have tended to strengthen the market to-day, and although no transactions ot importance have transpired, holders generally have raised their prices. Sugar.-—The large auction sale of to-morrow is looked forward tojwith much interest by storekeepers. We confidently anticipate a good sale, and the trade aye con'es-edly very bare of stock.
