Daily Times Office, Thursday Evening. There were no export entries passed on gold at the Customs to-day. The total amount of revenue received on articles passed for home consumption was L 431 2s 9d, the items being-Brandy, 380 gals. Ll7O I7s 4d ; whisky, 32 gals, Ll4 83 ; geneva, 167 gals, L75 6s sd; wine, 207 gals, L3l 2s 6d ; tobacco, 721 lb, L54 3s 6d; sundries, LBS ss. There is very little of interest in our markets to report to-day. The retail trade in town seems to be rather more lively. Sugar continues in fair demand ; a parcel of damaged Company's sugar was sold by auction to day at L 25103 for yellow counters, and L34 10s for first counters. Bacon, butter, candles, and goods of this class are offering much in excess of demand. Hams of the new cure being scarce, are much inquired for. ABSTRACT OF SALES BY AUCTION. THIS DAT.
