The proprietor of the Arcade having leased the adjoining land, has resolved to erect the necessary buildings, to convert into a Vegetable and. Produce Market, and to cause the whole of the present Arcade Promenade to be kept clean, and thus remove the great annoyance caused by obstructions to the thoroughfare. For the convenience of the public, there will be an entrance from the centre of the Arcade. It is expected the whole of the stalls will be completed by Monday, 4th July, 1864, and will be submitted to unreserved competition for a period of 12 months, by E. DE CARLE and CO.
