Sydney, 25th May. There were 938 volunteers reviewed yesterday. The Rev. Arch-priest Therry died to-day, of disease of the heart He was the oldest priest in the country. He was apparently quite well yesteiday, and attended the Governor's levee. Mr W- Dean sold by auction to-day a considerable parcel of Mauritius sugars. For fine sorts an advance of 803 per ton was obfcaiued, and on coarser sorts about 20s per ton advance on late sal°s. Rice- has improved a little. There are some speculators in the market, and higher rates are askeJ.
