(From the •' Argus.") Sydhey, 25th May, Father Therry was found dead this morning; He was at the levee yesterday. A new information has been laid against Gardiner, for the robbery of one Housington, with violence. Flour is a little firmer. Business dull. Adelaide, 25th May. There were no transactions to-day in flour or wheat, but the market is firm. The United Vineyard Company's brandy, iv case and bulk, is scarce. Bottled ale of first brands is wanted. The sugar market is quiet. Lower prices would be taken. Teas are in fair demand. Miss Gougenheim draws crowded houaea at the Victorian Theatre. A convict, who arrived per ftangatira from Western Australia, lias been arrested. The evidence proves that the fore cabin steward received LlO for concealing him. The miners are still on strike. It i 9 reported that a satisfactory arrangement will shortly be made.
