NQ'n^ti, ----- AT a large Meeting held laafc ufghji, according to due advertisement, of Bai'men, Waiters, Money-fakers, Check-takers, and others now or recenily in (he employ of Mr S. Jones—Mr D. Radd.ffe in the Chair—the following Resolutions were proposed and passed :— Ist Resolution. Moved by Mr Oliver, seconded by Mr Bond.— " That this Meeting, consisting of parties now or lately in Mr S. Jones's employ, refuse to .be identified with the Meeting lately held at Obgood's, amongst a few individuals who called themselves Mi' Jones's servants." Carried unanimously. 2KD RESOLUTION. • ' Moved by Mr Roberts, seconded by Mr Gerard.—" That tlie Kesolutions carried at the Meeting at Osgood's, and since published, are neither according to facts, nor are they sanctioned by tie great majority of those in Mr Jones's employ.'' Carried unanimously. 3rd Resolution. Moved by Mr Tuck, and seconded by Mr Barry-"That a vote of censure be passed by the present meeting, and duly published ia the local papers, on those who have wilfully and falsely aspersed Mr Jones, by endeavoring to hold him up to the public as an illiberal employer." Carried unanimously. 4th Resolution. Moved by Mr Clarke, seconded by Mr Wilson— " That the present meeting do declare and cause to be published in the local papers their full appreciation of Mr Jones in his general liberality as an employer, kindness as a master, ?nd justice between man and man.'' Carried unanimously. stu Resolution. Moved by Mr Smith, seconded by Mr Ben. Cavill - " That we, the present employees of Mr Jones, fully concur with the resolutions passed this evening, and pledge ourselves to discharge our various duties as cheerfully as hitherto, and feel proud of an opportunity of assuring him how much he is respected by us all."
