THE Town Board of Dunedin hereby give notice that on and after the tenth day of December next, "Q'hb Common Lodsikghcusb Ordinance, 1862" will be in full force and operation, so. far as ■relates to the City of Dunedin, and every occupying tenant or keeper of any Common Lodginghouse, already or hereafter existing within the jurisdiction of the said Town Board, shall register such house by df livering at the Office of the Town Board a notice, and such notice, subject to the provisions of this Ordinance, shall be registered by the said Town .Board, on payment of a fee of ten shillings. NOTICE TO ELECTORS FOR MEMBEESOF THE 10WN BOARD OF DUNEDIN, WHEREAS, a seat at the Town Board has become vacant for Hifcth Ward by the resignation of Mr Jcbn fswitzer : an Election to supply his place will be held on Wednesday next, the lGth day of December, at the office of the Town Board, Princes-street, Th*? election will commence Bt nine o'clock in the morning of Wednesday, the 16th day of December next, " and shall continue umil eleven o'clock of the s&id day, after which no new candidate shall be voted for, and if at such last mentionel hour the names of not more persons than the number to be elected shall be inscribed for the office in each Ward respectively, the election in such case snail be declared to be at an end, and no votes shall thereafter be receive^; but if the'names of more persor.s than the number to be «lected shall be so subscribed, then the said book shall remain open until four o'clock of the said day, after which no votes shall be received (except those of such electors as may be within the polling place waiting to tender their votes), and the election shall be declared at an end.
