ALLEN (Patentee of Allen's Foot-rot A Ointment) has introduced a soluble preparation for the cure of Scab in Sheep, which he has submitted to the severest experimental tests both in Victoria and New. South Wales, Competent authorities have declared that no other application ever introduced exerts the same complete and instantaneous control over the disease of scab. The cure is gradually perfected ; with a single dipping the constitution of the sheep is renovated, and the fleece (never subject to the least injury) undergoes a decided improve- '"- '■ ment. The color, growth, fullness and elasticity of the wool after dipping has been specially commended. The ground on which the flock is returned after tlie dip is thoroughly disinfected; fee destruction of the scab animalcule (acarus) is absolute, being carried on constitutionally beneath as well as externally upon the skin.
