ALLEN (Patentee of Allen's Foot-rot „ Ointment) has introduced a soluble preparation for the cure of Scab in Sheep, which he has submitted to the severest experimental tests both in Victoria and New Soutu Wale*. Competent authorities have declared that no other applieition ever introduced exerts the same complete and instantaneous control over the disease ot scab. The cure is gradually perfected; with a single dipping the constitution of the sheep is renovated, aud the fleece (never subject to the lea>t injury) undergoes a decided improvement. The color, growth, fullness and elasticity of the wool after dipping has been specially commended. The ground on which the flock is returned after dip is thoroughly disinfected ; the destruction of the scab animalcule (acarus) is absolute, being carried on constitutionally beneath as well as externally upon the skin. .The other parasites which infest sheep are exterminated the same time.
