TTNFORMATION is requested concerning the name JL and address of a man who, on or about Monday, the 23rd of March last, wanted to purchase some ' flour at the tent of Joseph Smith, otherwise " Yorky" (since murdered), at Miller's Flat. The person sought for enquired 'the-price of flour, and was told that it was sold at ten pence a pound. He expressed himself ready, to take ten or twelve pounds of i<-. Tbe storenian went inside 'as if to procure it, but turned round and said, " Will you not take a fifty pound bag?" which the other declined to do. The rtoreman then said " He did not care about selling." Should this meet the eye of the man who wanted to buy the flour on the- 'day abovementioned, at Miller's Flat, he is earnestly requested to forward his name and address to the Commissioner of Police,' Dunedin, without delay.
