Regulations of Elections Act, 1858," 'I, Jackson Keddnll, Returning Officer for the Election of Gold, Fields Representatives of the Province of Otago, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ bearing date the 24th day of February; 1863, issued undorthfc hand of his Excellency the Governor, of New Zealand, an Klectionwill ba' fceld for tho return of two qualified persons to serve as Members of the House of Representatives for the said. Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at,,the. police Station, Lawrence, Tuapeka, on Tuesday, the fourteenth day of April, 1863, and that the poll, if necessary, will ba taken on Friday, the 24th day of April, 1863.'
