The American ship Santiago and the barque Dunediu arrived together to-day from Melbourne, having left Port Phillip on the 20th instant, liiey bring an aggregate of 278 passengers, the majority of ■whom are diggers from tbe up-country districts of Victoria." The majority ot the number were conveyed to town in the afternoon by the Lady Barkly. The Gazelle brought to-day, from Wellington, 131 head of cattle, with the loss of only one. She left on the 27th, at 4 a in, on the same day the Indu9 Milled for Lyttclton, with stojk, and was seen by the Gsizjlle oh the following morning.
