The following is the amount of import ancl export duties paid at the Custom House yesterday : — Duty on Imports £311 7 3 Export Duty on Gold, 303 ozs. 8 dwts. 49 16 0
Messrs. Frederick Moss k Co., report the prices of the cargo of the "Clutha," from Auckland/ 12,000 feet of timber sold yesterday to be as follows: — Grooved ancl tongued boards, 325. 6d. to 375. Gd. superficial; planed boards, 335. 6'd. do.; scantling 4x3, 20s. ; scantling 4x2, 17s. (id., running measure ; scantling 6 x 2, 225., and other sizes in proportion ; weather boards, 275. Cd. to 28s. superficial ; half-inch boards, 21s. to 225. 6d. do.; featheredged weatherboards, 275. do. ; one-inch boards, 275. 6d. to 30s.
