She was -thoroughly well built last winter, at Auckland, under the owner's personal inspection; frame of best hardwood with Kauri plunking ; coppered with 22 oz. copper, and copper-fastened; schooner-rigged, and carries also, a square-sail; all her sails new; and the vessel provided with a good boat; commodious cabin. Length, 84ft. over all; beam, 12ft. 4in.;. engine of 16-horsepower ; extreme draft of water, 5 feet. ' Engine and boiler in first-rate order, and fitted under the superintendence of the Chief Engineer of H. M. steamer " Pelorus," whose certificate can be seen at the Agent's. This Screw Steamer is well adapted for the profitable trade between DUNEDIN and PORT CHALMERS, both for Passengers and Cargo, and the most thorough inspection of her is invited.
