CHURCH SERVICES.

The services at St. Luke's to-mor-row wiil be condudcted by the Von. Archdeacon Russell. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8 and at the 11 o'clock service, when the Ladies' Guild Memorial Tablet to the memory of the late Mrs de Lambert will be unveiled. All members 9f the Guild and the relatives and friends of the deceased lady are specially invited to be present. Evensong will be at 3.30, when the choir will sing the anthem, "O Come Let Us Worship." Rev. D. Jamicsou will celebrate the Holy Communion at Newborough at 11, and will take'evensong there at 6.30. He will also officiate at Kia Ora at 2.30. The Archdeacon will be at Enfield at 8. The Scripture Union meeting of the C.E.M.S. will be held in the Guildroom on Monday evening at 8, when Mr Deal will give a paper on "How Churchmen can best help forward the work of the Churcli." All men are heartily invited to attend. The services at St. Paul's Church will be conducted by the Rev. S. F. Hunter. The morning subject is: "Bought with a Price," and the evening, "A Good Business Choice." The Eveline service will be held at 6.30 p.m. As the quarterly communion service will be held next Sunday, the preparatory service will be held on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be dispensed at the morning service at Columba Church to-morrow. In the evening the subject will be: "The Face of Jesus." The desire for a pictured likeness of Jesus has been verv strong all down the _ centuries. There are descriptions of His personal appearance in legendary lore; but many think that the portraiture of character is greater than any pictured likeness. The several aspects will bo dealt with on Sunday evening. The Rev. W. McLean will conduct both services. ■ Mr Geo. D. Vercoe will speak in the Churcli of Christ to-morrow at 11 a.in., the subject being; "Abiding m Christ." In the evening the preacher will be Mr Len Dorreen, of U.S.A. The usual meetings will be held in the Salvation Army Hall to-morrow at 7 "and 11 a.m. and 3 and 7 p.m. The services in connection with the Church of England Waitaki district will be as follows:—Ngapara, 11 a.m. (meeting of congregation after service) ; 3 p.m., Otekaike (Evensong and sermon); 7 p.m., Kurow (Evensong and sermon). Annual meeting, iMonday, 8 "p.m., at Vicarage, Kurow. The Rev. W. Scorgie will conduct the Presbyterian services in the Lower Waitaki charge to-morrow. Owing to the. continued prevalence of influenza, no 'service will be held at Awamoko, but the opportunity will "be taken to hold a service in the afternoon at Airedale. The morning and evening services will be at Papakaio and Pukeuri respectively. The services at Wesley Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. A. Reader morning and evening. The subject for the morning will be "Contrary Winds," and for the evening "The Passing of the Impossible."
