MORE PAY WANTED
By Telegraph. (Special to the Oamaru Mail.) DUNEDIN, Juno 2. The Oamaru painters' application for a basic wage of 2s per hour and a bonus of 3d per hour was adjourned, by the Arbitration - Court to Monday, 7th iust., to give employers an opportunity of being heard. Similar applications from the Dunedin and Invercargill painters were granted. The flourmills employees' application was heard, and a. decision reserved. The decision of the Court regarding the woollen mills application for au increase in wages and the deletion of clause 1 of the recent agreement with the Woollen Mills Owners' Association was also reserved.-
