The Supreme Council is stated to be also considering military measures for providing against the possibility of active'eo-operation between the Turkish Nationalist forces and sections of the Arabs in Syria.. . . Official circles are of opinion that the Allied forces, with the troops which Greece is believed to be ready to furnish, give assurance to the Allies of a militarv superiority sufficient for any emergencv in the immediate future, but the is anxious, owing to the extent of the regions which the crisis may effect.
