CRICKET.
UNION v. HIGH SCHOOL. The -Union and School teams played a match on the School grounds yesterday which was interesting'and" enjoyable, the boys winninsf by four wickets. Union _ took first strike and: opened well. Philpotts and J. Robertson giving the side an excellent start which Looker carried on, but Sumpter, H. Robertson and Ongley all lost their wickets rapidly and Keith and Austin were the only others to . make any showing, so that, batting one man short, Union were all out for 150. Smyth, Hunter, D. Sumpter, Scrimshaw and extras all added materially to the School score, Hunter's innings being a- nice exhibition. The scores are: *' —Union.— J.
