David Reeves, charged with obscene language and assault, pleaded not guilty, and was defended by Mr Campbell. Evidence was given by William [' rascr and E. Godsall (the latter being ordered to be treated as-a hostile witness) that defendant accosted William Eraser 011 the Otekaike Station, and used filthy and abusive language. Defendant did not give evidence, arid was'fined £2 on each charge, and Court costs 7s.

A Tima.ru resident was charged with causing an accident to John Sharak's horses at the foot of the Otematata Saddle camp grounds with his motor iaj\ - After the evidence of James Barr, John Shanks, and Constable Melville lor the" prosecution, the defendant and twt> other witnesses gave evidence.
