CHURCH SERVICES.

Services in the T.ower Waitaki parish | will be held .at Papa-kaio at 11 a.m . Awamoko Public Hall at. 2.30 p.m., and at Pukeuri at 7 p.m. During the, summer months and until further notice the evening services at- Pukeuri will bepjn at 7 p.m. The Rev. G. W. Hunt will conduct the services as above. The services in connection with the. Church of England, Waitaki district, will be as follows-.—Kurow, 8 a.m. (Holv Communion) and 7 p.m. (evenporit/nnd sermon).: 10.30 a.m., Special School. Olekaike; 3 p.m.. Haka Valley, i All the services will be conducted ny the Vicar. . The services in connection witli Kurow Presbyterian parish to-morrow nvill be at Ot-iake in the morning an at Kurow in the afternoon and evening. The ovenine service will take the form of a Bible Class. The Rev. -Tolm Criug will conduct all the services. The services at St. Luke's to-morrow will be conducted by the Yen. Archdeacon Russell. Holy Communion will be at 8, Matins at 11 and Evensong at- 6.30. Rev. T). -lamieson will officiate at Newborough at 11 and 6.30, and will take Pukeuri service at 2.30. The services at St. Paul's church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev A. Sangster, of Duntroon. The usual evening service at Eveline will be held at 6.30. At Columba church to-morow, the pulpit will be occupied by Chaplain Herron, M.C., who recently returned after a. lengthy term as chaplain on active service with the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces. Chaplain Herron has been chosen by the St. Andrew s congregation, Dunedin. as successor to Rev! Rutherford Waddell. The usual services will be held at the Church of Christ, Eden Street- on Sunday. Mr H. Leng will be the preacher at both morning and evening services. The services of the Salvation Army to-morrow will be conducted by Commandant Cook at the usual hours. Mr B. Billing will conduct the usual services in the Baptist Church to-mor-row, at 11 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. The Gospel will be preached in the Gospel Hall. Steward Street, to-mor-row, at 6.30 p.m., when all will be wel- , corned. The fifty-sixth anniversary services of the. Sunday School of Wesley Church will be celebrated to-morrow, when the Rev. R. Rain, of Dunedin, will conduct the services at 11 a.m., 2.45, and 6.30 p.m. A large number of hymns and specially selected pieces of music will be rendered by the children and choir, under the baton of Mr T. Hedges. The children and choir will be on a large raised dais, and the sanctuary will be specially decorated for the occasion. Residents and visitors are cordially invited to these festive services. The anniversary tea and children's concert will take place on Tuesday.
