EASY VICTORY OYER NATAL

In the match against Natal the Australian soldiers' team in. first innings scored 158 —Collins 76, Pellew :V-'>. In the second innings they made 34-I—Taylor 81, Docker 45. Natal in their first innings made 83. Gregorv took nine, wickets for 32 runs. In their second innings they made 106. The Australians thus won bv 319 runs.

RETURNED SOLDIERS v. UNION. The above match was played on King George's Park, resulting in'an easy win for the .Union Club. Soldiers, battingfirst (two men short), made 19. runs and Union declared with nine wickets down for 7:j. In their second attempt Soldiers fared little better, being all out fo*-- 26.
