DO FARMERS REQUIRE LABOR?

Touching a statement that men who appeal to the Wellington Labor Bureau for harvesting work, found no farmers enquiring lor «uch men, the Minister of Agriculture .said they should have no difficulty in getting ivork. The Deparinent's field supervisors had been'instructed to make inquiries, and they reported that labor is undoubtedly scarce, but with proper co-operation the farmers could do all that was necessary.. The Government was considering the question of organising labor throughout the Dominion, and hoped to have the census returns dealing " with the matter this month, -when the position would he gone into thoroughly.
