WEATHER OBSERVATIONS.
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed at noon to-day as follows: Indications are for southerly winds strong to gale. The weather 'appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Rain probable. The barometer has a rising tendency temporarily. Seas heavy; tides high.
