THE BOARD OF TRADE.

By. Telegraph. (Special to the Oamaru Mail.) • Wellington, April 14. The Board of Trade returned from the South Island and spent a busy day iiere with witnesses. . They examined Mr -Hughes (Nelson) with regard to flour and bread.. While on the West Coast the Board looked into certain, phases'of coal production with a view to future operations. ;■ ".'■" The members express appreciation of the willingness with which witnesses came forward and gave full and frank eridence during the recent session. The question particularly under consideration was the price of flour and bread. An interim report may be submitted on South Island! conditions before the Commission goes north.
