The unions demand was For 10 per <vnt. all-ronnfi increase in wages. The Erectors at first offered 5 per cent.. v'.i:s 5 per «-ent. bonns an earnings to ■k* endl of February. Later this offer was amended to 10 per cent, for men
• lining up to 48» weekly, and 10s per rent, to women earning up to 37s 6d w<:t>klr. The points finally agreed np•m included the granting of the 10 per <or.c. increase to women earning np to '■)■'■• weekh*.
