"The remarkable result of scientific feeding of, young stock was forcibly illustrated at a clearing sale at Kakanui yesterday, when a line of calves, sis months ol<J and under, was sold under thejiammer at the unusually long price of 50s per head. The breeder stated that his 1912 season calves were sold only two months ago at 52s each, yet his 1913 season's calves—at time of sale nine months younger than the others — realised only 2s less per head. This was, in his opinion, entirely due to his adding this year a trifling quantity of Bibby's Calf Food (at exceedingly small cost) to the skimmed milk from the separator. The calves certainly looked pretty enough for an artist to paint, their healthy, sleek coats and weilnourished bodies been striking testimony to the success of the feeding." Kakanui, 6th April. 1914. Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., Oamaru— Dear Sirs, — I as breeder of the calves mentioned above, declare that, the facts were as are stated. The Bibby's Calves were the best I ever owned, and I consider Bibby's Calf Food "out on it's own" the best food on the market. D. SMITH.
