Rome, June 9. ; An anarchist and socialist demonstration at Ancona, as a protest against the prohibition of anti-militarist meetings, was suppressed by tbe police. Seventeen policemen were injured by stones, <everal seriously. The police fired their revolvers at the mob, killing three. A general strike in Rome followed as a protest, and Ancona traffic is paralysed.. The newspapers are not published.
