The Seamen's Union has advised the Shipipng Companies that clauses will be inserted in the seamen's compensationAct operating from the 18th making it apply to crews trading outside the limits of the Commonwealth. This is the outcome of the recent case against the Pinion Company, wherein the High Court ruled that the Act did not apply outside such limits.
