STEALING SHIP'S STORES.
Per Press Association. Dundin, June 8. At Port Chalmers Police Court this afternoon three firemen on the Whakatane—Wilfred Jasper. Charles Jcssop. ] and Walter Thorn—were charged with embezzling the ship's stores to the value of £B. Each morn was sentenced to-one "month's imprisonment and ordered to forfeit £1 from their wages.
