In the mixed doubles Doust and Miss Morton beat Brookes and' Mrs Lambert, Chambers, qualifying to meet Parke and "Sirs Larcombe, the of the •title. The score was. 7 —5, G-—l. The match, which was exciting, was fought in gusty wind and rain. Received June 7, at 5.5 p.m. Paris, June 6. r Wilding defeated Decugis bv 6—l, 6—2, 6—l. W ? ilding outclassed Decugis, whose first service constantly failed. Wilding, playing perfect tennis, commenced with powerful driving from the base line. Then for a time he went jn to the net and smashed, finally reverting to the base line. He was in invincible form throughout the tournanrent. •Received June 8, at 0.20 a.m. London, June 7.
