INCHOLME CONCERT.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) The annual concert in aid of the school prize fund was held on Friday last. There was a large gathering, the schoolroom being-packed: A .-good'programme was arranged as follows: —Part 1 : Mr L. Robertson, violin solo;. Mrs Hyndman, song, "'The Kiver of. Years" (encored); Miss'Eileen Robertson, song, "Love's Old Sweet Song" (encored); ■ Miss Robertson (Maheilo)and- Mr A. Crow,""duet; "Flow .on, thou shining river"; Mr Rodger, song, "Nancy Lee" (encored); Miss Robertson (Malieno), song,; "Bric r a-brac" .(encored) ; .Mr -A. Crow, song; "Mary". Part 2: Mrs -Hyudman, song; "Bo.loved-," it-is morn" ; "Mr Rodger, song, ."Dc Ole Umbrella" ; ;Mrs Robertson, song, "Rothesay Bay" ; 'Miss Robertson (Maheno) and Mr. Rodger, • clue?. '"'Whispering LeaVcS" ; Miss Ellen Robertson,.. song, -,' invitation"-; -Miss Robertson (Malieno) and Mr A. After the usual votes of thanks to all -who had assisted - with.the concert the company joined in singing "Auld Lang Syne."
Mrs Low and ■ Miss Robertson (Maheno) played the accompaniments in fine st.vlo, and Mr John Newlands acted as chairman. After the concert the room was clenr-ed-ror dancing, for which Messrs Gten 11 ie and Duff suiwliccl the music. Mr J-. Angus undertaking'the duties "ofM.C. ' Supper, under the .supervision of Mesdames .John Newlnnds" and TV. Kinniniont, was servcd.in the playshed, which was tastefully decorated with flowers and shrubs. /■■-,"
